🔥 Bitget US Stock Hot-Topic Sniper | 2026.10.05 Theme: Soft jobs print cools hike bets | AI compute financing · storage split · physical AI image 0

1. Nasdaq at a record, Nvidia back in the lead

September nonfarm payrolls rose only 29,000, well below the roughly 90,000 expected, and the unemployment rate ticked up to 4.2%, cooling October rate-hike bets. On Friday the Dow closed up 0.49% at 51,176.96, the S&P 500 rose 0.73% to 7,722.72, and the Nasdaq gained about 1%, with the Nasdaq-100 at a record close. Nvidia hit an intraday high for the first time in more than four months and closed up over 1%. Morgan Stanley reiterated it as the top semiconductor pick with a $300 target.

🎯 Beneficiaries: NVDA, AMD, AVGO; catalyst: lower rate expectations plus a fresh high in the compute leader — watch Monday premarket tech volume.

2. Broadcom leads a $60 billion AI-chip financing

Bloomberg reported that Broadcom’s bank syndicate has started assembling about $60 billion in debt financing for Anthropic and others to buy AI chips and build data centers. Roughly $42 billion is a senior secured tranche; Blackstone is leading an about $18 billion junior tranche. Broadcom is providing residual-value support on the senior piece. The deal has not been formally announced. Broadcom closed Friday up more than 3%.

🎯 Beneficiaries: AVGO, NVDA; catalyst: custom-chip and compute-lease financing moving toward syndication — watch bank distribution progress.

3.Storage splits: HBM tight, HDD capacity rising

Micron’s fiscal Q4 adjusted EPS was $33.42 and revenue was $54.23 billion. Long-term customer agreements are about $32 billion, and management expects memory supply to stay tight through fiscal 2027 and 2028. It also flagged physical-AI demand from autonomous driving and humanoid robots. Samsung’s HBM4 pricing is in the mid-to-high $4 per Gb range, about triple HBM3E. Toshiba plans to invest 60 billion yen to double HDD capacity; Seagate and Western Digital each fell about 10% on Friday.

🎯 Beneficiaries: MU, NVDA; catalyst: HBM price strength versus HDD supply fears — avoid pure HDD names hurt by the capacity news.

4. Tesla deliveries beat; memory reallocated to Optimus

Tesla delivered 486,532 vehicles in Q3, down 2.1% year over year but about 25,000 above the company-compiled consensus of 461,974. The stock closed Friday up nearly 5%. Industry reports say AI5 memory is being cut from 144GB LPDDR5 to 72GB, and AI6 is set to use 144GB LPDDR6, to protect Optimus mass-production supply.

🎯 Beneficiaries: TSLA, MU; catalyst: delivery beat and inventory drawdown, plus robots competing for memory — watch premarket follow-through.

5. White House superintelligence task force + Marvell Investor Day

On Sunday Trump announced the Super Intelligence Force, led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton, with FTC Chair Andrew Ferguson among the members. It reports to the president and the White House chief of staff, following last week’s White House AI-company accord. Marvell’s Investor Day is set for 9:00 a.m. ET on October 6. Piper Sandler keeps a Buy and a $270 target; Morgan Stanley raised its target to $268. Focus is custom XPUs and scale-up connectivity.

🎯 Beneficiaries: MRVL, NVDA, AVGO; catalyst: a clearer policy frame plus Tuesday’s Investor Day — watch commentary on custom-chip orders.

Trading note: Flows are rotating from the hike trade back into AI compute and custom chips. Inside storage, high-bandwidth memory is stronger than HDDs. Monday watch ISM services and premarket tech volume; Tuesday watch MRVL’s Investor Day. Keep size tied to events and avoid chasing HDD names hit by the capacity expansion. US stocks have been volatile lately. This is for information only and is not investment advice.
