Freeport-McMoRan Reports Q3 Copper, Gold Production

08:34 AM EDT, 10/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Freeport-McMoRan (FCX) reported Q3 copper production Friday of about 830 million pounds and gold production of about 230,000 ounces. The company said it expects Q3 consolidated copper sales to approximate its July forecast of 750 million pounds, while gold sales are now expected to be about 100,000 ounces, below its July estimate due to deferred gold sales.
