09:00 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed pre-bell Wednesday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) up 0.4% and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) 0.2% lower. Conagra Brands (CAG) shares were down more than 2% after the company posted a decline in fiscal Q1 net sales.
