BlossomHill Drug Shows 45% Response Rate in Lung Cancer Trial

07:42 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BlossomHill Therapeutics (BLSM) said Tuesday that updated data from the phase 1/2 SOLARA trial of BH-30643 showed a 45% objective response rate and an 88% disease control rate in patients with EGFR C797S-positive non-small cell lung cancer following prior EGFR inhibitor treatment. Among 40 patients, 18 achieved a confirmed or ongoing unconfirmed partial response, while 25 remained on treatment at a median follow-up of 6.9 months, the company said. Among 174 patients treated at expansion doses of 40 mg, 50 mg or 60 mg twice daily, treatment-related dose reductions and discontinuations occurred in 9% and 3% of patients, respectively, BlossomHill said. BlossomHill plans to initiate a global phase 2 study targeting EGFR C797S-positive NSCLC in Q1 2027. Shares of the company were 6.7% higher in Tuesday premarket activity.
