05:46 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SpaceX (SPCX) Chief Executive Elon Musk said Sunday on social media platform X that he is "highly confident" the company will launch Nvidia's (NVDA) Vera Rubin NLV72 artificial intelligence computers in space next year. The SpaceX CEO did not provide further details about the planned launch or the number of Vera Rubin systems the company could deploy. Vera Rubin NVL72 is built on the third-generation NVIDIA MGX NVL72 rack design, with 72 Rubin graphics processing units, 36 Vera central processing units, NVIDIA ConnectX-9 SuperNICs, and BlueField-4 data processing units, according to Nvidia's website.
