- On Friday, the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy stated that the Minister of Industry has, citing energy security considerations, requested the UK Secretary of State for Business and Trade to exempt South Korea's imports of liquefied natural gas from Russia from the upcoming sanctions scheme.
- The UK plans to ban the provision of maritime transport, insurance, and related supporting services for Russian liquefied natural gas starting from January 2027.
