Brazilian energy giant Petrobras disclosed in a regulatory filing that the company has received two installment payments related to Brazil’s diesel subsidy program, amounting to 643.8 million reais and 1.9 billion reais, respectively. This subsidy initiative was introduced by the Brazilian government to mitigate domestic diesel price fluctuations, safeguard livelihoods, and stabilize operating costs for related industries. As a key domestic energy company, Petrobras is one of the main recipients of this subsidy policy, and the arrival of these funds will provide financial support for the company to implement the relevant subsidy measures in accordance with regulations.
