Tokenized gold XAUa launches on Sui
According to Odaily, the Hong Kong-regulated tokenized gold XAUa has been launched on Sui. This token is minted based on Sui's Permissioned Asset Standard (PAS), issued by AlphaToken, with TBook responsible for distributing it to on-chain users. Each XAUa is backed by physical gold stored in Hong Kong, and holding or purchasing the token requires meeting eligibility criteria. According to PAS rules, the issuer programs compliance rules into the policy, and each transfer must pass verification before settlement; transfers that do not pass will be rejected and balances remain unchanged. TBook has migrated and rebuilt its vault issuance platform to PAS. In the future, RWA issuers can directly issue vaults with the same compliance controls on Sui.
