US banking giant JPMorgan has announced its latest move into the cryptocurrency market, beginning a collaboration with Solana.

Accordingly, J.P. Morgan Asset Management has made two tokenized money market funds, MONY and JLTXX, available to investors on the Solana blockchain. The new application aims to facilitate fund transactions for institutional investors through digital asset networks.

JPMorgan Announced!

J.P. Morgan Asset Management announced that its My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX) products are now available to eligible US investors through the Solana network.

Previously available on the Ethereum network, these funds are now accessible via a second blockchain network with this expansion. Investors can access both funds through Morgan Money, the company’s cash management and transaction platform. Through Morgan Money, eligible investors can participate in the funds, redeem their shares, and hold their corresponding token balances in their own blockchain addresses.

The statement explained that MONY is a 506(c) private placement fund offering qualified investors the opportunity to earn US dollar returns; and JLTXX is a US-registered government money market fund aiming to invest in support of stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act.

Paul Przybylski, Global Head of Digital and Tokenized Assets Products at JP Morgan Asset Management, said, “Our clients operate across multiple networks, and their liquidity should reflect that. Bringing JLTXX and MONY to Solana gives stablecoin issuers and institutional investors access to the same funds across the on-chain networks they operate on. This launch strengthens our position as a leader in the tokenized liquidity space and underscores our commitment to scaling tokenized cash management through multi-chain channels.”
