Shiba Inu Exchange Holdings Drop 87 Trillion as Traders Prepare for Meme Rally

  • SHIB exchange reserves fell to 87.06 trillion tokens amid significant net outflows.
  • Price remains under pressure, with support near the 0.000490 range.
  • A meme rally needs stronger demand, rising volume, and improved market sentiment.

Shiba Inu is back on traders’ watchlists after a sharp decline in exchange reserves. Recent data showed exchange-held SHIB falling to 87.06 trillion tokens. That change has sparked discussions about possible supply shifts and future price potential. Some investors see the trend as a positive sign. Others remain cautious as price action continues to show weakness. The coming weeks may reveal whether lower exchange balances can support a stronger market outlook.

Exchange Reserves Continue to Decline

Recent figures showed SHIB reserves on exchanges dropping to 87.06 trillion tokens. Data also revealed a negative netflow of 33.94 billion SHIB in just 24 hours. More tokens left exchanges than entered during that period. Many investors move assets off exchanges for different reasons. Some prefer long-term storage. Others transfer holdings between wallets. Exchange outflows can reduce available supply for immediate selling. However, those movements alone do not confirm accumulation.

Some community members believe lower exchange reserves could help SHIB during a future meme coin rally. A return of strong meme coin interest may attract fresh traders. Even so, current data does not confirm growing demand. Market participants still need evidence of stronger buying activity. Price action remains a key concern. Exchange trends provide useful context. Yet reserve declines alone rarely drive a sustained rally.

Price weakness became clear throughout the latest trading session. SHIB opened near 0.0005076 and later slipped to 0.0004957. Several recovery attempts appeared during trading hours. Sellers consistently pushed prices lower after each rebound. A sharp decline sent SHIB close to 0.000491. Buyers stepped in shortly afterward. That rebound helped lift price from session lows. Despite that effort, recovery momentum failed to reclaim earlier levels.

Key Levels and Market Sentiment Remain Important

The area between 0.000490 and 0.000491 now serves as visible support. A break below that range could increase downside pressure. On the upside, resistance sits between 0.000498 and 0.000500. The opening level near 0.0005076 remains another barrier. Traders are also watching the 86 trillion reserve level. A move below that figure would extend the decline in exchange-held supply.

Such a development would add another data point. However, no direct link guarantees higher prices. A more convincing bullish signal would combine falling reserves, rising prices, and stronger spot trading volume. That combination would suggest buyers are absorbing selling pressure more effectively. Broader market conditions also matter.

Bitcoin’s direction often influences speculative interest across the crypto market. Improved sentiment could bring fresh attention to SHIB. Weak conditions, however, may continue supporting selling pressure. For now, reserve data and key price levels remain important indicators. The next move will likely depend on whether demand grows alongside shrinking exchange balances.

$63 Billion: The Largest AI Infrastructure Financing in History! Broadcom CEO Gets Personally Involved, Wall Street Closely Watching Massive Debt Issuance in Q1 Next Year

This deal to help Anthropic lease chips almost fell through due to "indigestion" in the AI debt market. Broadcom CEO Hock Tan urgently facilitated a rare collaboration between banks and Blackstone by offering "higher interest rates plus residual value guarantees" as a concession. Broadcom acted both as the seller and guarantor, creating a controversial “circular financing” loop that deeply ties the company to Anthropic. The issuance of approximately $21 billion in high-grade bonds next quarter will serve as a real stress test.
