Zhitong Finance APP reports that on Thursday, the pharmaceutical sector outperformed the market. AstraZeneca (AZN.US), Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY.US), and Eli Lilly (LLY.US) all rose by over 4%, while GSK (GSK.US), Novo Nordisk (NVO.US), and Novartis (NVS.US) gained over 3%. Pfizer (PFE.US) and Merck (MRK.US) were up over 2%.
