Reuters New York, October 14 - According to sources on Wednesday, senior consumer and retail mergers and acquisitions banker Richard Peacock is about to leave Bank of America.
Peacock joined Bank of America more than a decade ago and is the latest in a series of managing directors (link) to depart recently, following others who have left the nation's second largest bank.
Earlier this year, Peacock was appointed co-head of the newly created private capital M&A team at the bank, designed to help private equity firms across industries realize their assets.
Bank of America declined to comment, and Peacock could not be reached for comment.
This summer, the bank also lost a senior consumer and retail business deal expert—Andrew Conway (link)—who departed to become Global Chair of Consumer and Retail Investment Banking at Citigroup.
