Enovix (ENVX.US) surges more than 17% after securing a major order for 100,000 drone batteries

Jitou Finance APP has learned that Enovix (ENVX.US), a U.S. lithium-ion battery research and manufacturing company, surged more than 17% in after-hours trading on Tuesday. Earlier, the company announced it had received an initial purchase order for 100,000 battery units from an unnamed multinational drone system supplier. Delivery is scheduled for the first half of next year, and the client is gradually expanding the use of Enovix cells. These cells are produced at the company's TAA-compliant factory in South Korea.
