US Central Command: The Strait of Hormuz is controlled by the US military and regional partners

On October 13 local time, U.S. Central Command responded on social media to the statements made by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. Central Command stated that the Strait of Hormuz is currently under the control of the U.S. military and regional partners. The U.S. side also indicated that, the day before, U.S. forces assisted regional partners in transporting more than 19 million barrels of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz. On the same day, the Commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy declared that any U.S. warships approaching the Strait of Hormuz would be sunk. (CCTV)
