(1) The German central bank auctioned a reissued 5-year government bond on Tuesday, with a total amount of approximately 3.35 billion euros. (2) The average winning yield was around 3.22%, lower than the previous auction's roughly 3.28%. (3) The bid-to-cover ratio was about 1.1, also lower than the previous figure of around 1.2, indicating relatively weak demand for this subscription. (4) The simultaneous decline in yield and bid-to-cover ratio may reflect a cooling market appetite for mid-term German bonds, as well as a slight change in the overall interest rate environment compared to the previous period.
