On October 12th, Microsoft, based on Alibaba's Qwen, launched a new decision-making model called Microsoft-Decision-1. According to Microsoft, this model was developed from further training on Qwen3.5-9B and, in structured decision-making tasks, surpasses LLM and other popular decision models like Jev 1.13.0 in both latency and accuracy. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella revealed on social media that, due to the outstanding performance of the new model, Microsoft is testing its application across all fields, including incident response, quality control, and scientific discovery.
