This move paves the way for its Starlink Mobile service to directly enter the U.S. telecom market. It will enable SpaceX to leverage Starlink satellites to become a "major mobile operator" in the United States. On Thursday, Elon Musk posted on X that this low-band spectrum represents "the final key piece of the spectrum puzzle needed for SpaceX to provide full mobile phone coverage in the US."
