Discovery (WBD), Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a person familiar with the investment. The commitment lifts the total from Gerry Cardinale's investment firm in the combined company, which will be called Skydance (SKYD), to $6 billion, the report added. RedBird Capital Partners, Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
