Pacific Biosciences of California, TychoBio Collaborate to Generate Full-Length RNA Data for AI Model Training
MT newswire2026/10/06 13:5609:56 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Pacific Biosciences of California (PACB) and AI drug discovery company TychoBio have agreed to generate full-length RNA data that will be used by TychoBio to train AI models for RNA therapy design, the companies said Tuesday. Under the terms of the collaboration, TychoBio will use PacBio's HiFi sequencing and Kinnex long-read RNA sequencing to generate data from more than 10,000 samples and will test candidate RNA therapies to measure how each therapy changes RNA molecules across multiple cell types, they said. Additionally, these test results will become training data for AI models designed to predict which compounds are most likely to work, how long their effects may last and where unintended effects may occur, according to the companies.
