Neogen, Hinalea Imaging to Develop Digital Food Safety Systems
MT newswire2026/10/06 13:3209:32 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Neogen (NEOG) said Tuesday it agreed to collaborate with Hinalea Imaging to develop digital imaging tools for food safety and quality inspection. The food safety provider also made an equity investment in Hinalea Imaging to help fund development costs, it said. The companies will assess food safety applications for hyperspectral imaging, which collects data throughout multiple light wavelengths to reveal product characteristics invisible to standard methods, Neogen said.
