Kodiak AI Says On Track for Year-End Driverless Long-Haul Launch
MT newswire2026/10/06 13:3109:31 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kodiak AI (KDK) said Tuesday that it remains on track to launch unsupervised driverless long-haul commercial service by the end of this year. The company's Autonomy Readiness Measure for long-haul driverless operations reached 96% at the end of September, up from 93% at the end of August, it said. Kodiak AI said remaining work includes completing a long-haul risk assessment, verifying launch vehicle configuration, and demonstrating the truck's safety at highway speeds. Shares of Kodiak AI were 4.3% higher in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
