Cognizant, Gilead Sign 5-Year Tech Extension Covering DevOps, AI Tools

09:29 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTSH) said Tuesday that it has signed a five-year extension agreement with Gilead Sciences (GILD) to support DevOps capabilities and the use of agentic artificial intelligence tools for certain technology programs. Cognizant said the updated scope will focus on uses intended to simplify processes, improve delivery, and help Gilead conduct priority technology programs more efficiently. Shares of Cognizant and Gilead were up 1.9% and 0.2% respectively in premarket activity Tuesday.
