Charles Schwab to Sell Forge Trust to Alto for Undisclosed Sum
MT newswire2026/10/06 13:0509:05 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Charles Schwab's (SCHW) Forge Global has agreed to sell Forge Trust and its parent company, Forge Services, to Alto for an undisclosed sum, Alto said Tuesday. Following the close of the transaction, the combined business will have over $20 billion in assets under custody and administration, more than 60,000 self-directed individual retirement accounts holding private market assets and over 3 million Custody-as-a-Service Accounts, Alto said. Schwab did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
