B&G Foods Cancels Green Giant Canada Sale to Nortera

08:52 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- B&G Foods (BGS) said Tuesday it cancelled its agreement to sell Green Giant Canada to Nortera Foods on Monday, after failing to obtain Canadian regulatory approval. B&G Foods will continue to own and operate Green Giant Canada, while Nortera will remain Green Giant Canada's primary co-manufacturer, the company said.
