Update: Energy Transfer to Buy Vaquero Midstream for $2.63 Billion

Energy Transfer (ET) said Tuesday it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Vaquero Midstream in a bolt-on deal valued at about $2.63 billion. The deal consideration will consist of $1.95 billion in cash and about 33.3 million newly issued common units of Energy Transfer, the company said. The transaction is expected to close in Q4, Energy Transfer said. The company operates a 300-mile pipeline network in Delaware Basin, as well as the Caymus Processing Complex, which includes natural gas processing plants with total capacity of 675 million cubic feet per day. Its customer contracts have an average remaining term of approximately 10 years, Energy Transfer said. Energy Transfer expects the Vaquero assets to be immediately accretive to distributable cash flow per common unit.
