Xanadu Partners with GlobalFoundries to Accelerate Quantum Manufacturing

07:59 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Xanadu Quantum Technologies (XNDU.TO) agreed to partner with semiconductor manufacturer GlobalFoundries to accelerate the production of advanced photonic components. The partnership will allow the company to scale up its photonics platform while leveraging GlobalFoundries' manufacturing line in New York, Xanadu said Tuesday. "This partnership demonstrates our focus on execution and seeks to provide the reliable, precision-manufactured infrastructure necessary to transition quantum technology from the research environment to commercial-scale data centers," founder and chief executive officer Christian Weedbrook said.
