Descartes Systems Introduces AI Control System for Supply Chain Workflows

07:49 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Descartes Systems Group (DSGX) introduced a system that allows AI agents to coordinate tasks across supply chain applications and trading partners, the company said Tuesday. The Descartes Agent Control Plane lets AI agents handle multi-step workflows within customer-defined permissions and with human approval when needed. Descartes said it can reduce manual follow-ups, speed up responses to changes and keep a record of actions taken by AI agents.
