Newfoundland Discovery Changes Name to Genesis Goldfields

07:08 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Newfoundland Discovery (NEWD.CN) has changed its name to "Genesis Goldfields Corp.", it said after markets closed Monday. The company's trading symbol on the Canadian Securities Exchange will be changed to "GGF" from "NEWD" and its shares will start trading under the new ticker symbol on Oct. 6, said the company.
