Quantum BioPharma, Thermo Fisher Partner on Phase 2 Multiple Sclerosis Trial

06:44 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Quantum BioPharma (QNTM) has signed a Study Start-Up Agreement with Thermo Fisher Scientific's (TMO) clinical research business to support the implementation of its Phase 2 Lucid-21-302, or Lucid-MS, trial for multiple sclerosis, the company said Tuesday. The agreement follows US Food and Drug Administration clearance for the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, which will assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of Lucid-MS in patients with progressive multiple sclerosis. Thermo Fisher will support study start-up and related clinical research, with the trial evaluating clinical and radiological measures of disease progression, it added.
