Shell CEO says will continue to seek natural gas opportunities in Venezuela
智通财经2026/10/06 09:56Shell CEO Wael Sawan stated on Tuesday that he believes the British oil giant's competitive advantage in Venezuela lies in natural gas rather than heavy oil, and the company will continue to seek other opportunities in the country. In June, Venezuela signed five agreements with Shell to advance oil and gas projects, including the prominent 7 trillion cubic feet Lorán offshore gas field project.
