Gran Tierra Energy Reports Ratification of Azerbaijan Onshore Exploration, Development and Production Sharing Agreement

05:38 PM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gran Tierra Energy (GTE) said late Monday the Milli Majlis, the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has ratified the exploration, development and production sharing agreement for the onshore Guba-Khazaryani region that the company signed with the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Feb. 18. Gran Tierra said it has completed flying its airborne digital full tensor gradiometry survey in Azerbaijan. The survey information will be used to help define the geometry of sedimentary basins and fault-related structures that potentially trap oil and gas in the Guba-Khazaryani region, the company said.
