Wescan Goldfields Starts Drilling at Munro Lake Project in Northern Saskatchewan
MT newswire2026/10/05 17:1301:13 PM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wescan Goldfields (WGF.V) has started diamond drilling at its Munro Lake project in northern Saskatchewan, it said Monday. Phase 1 of the 2026 program consists of up to 2,000 meters of helicopter-supported diamond drilling and is expected to continue for about five weeks, the company said. It is the company's first drilling at the property in three years. The initial holes are targeting extensions of the 2013 southeast zone intercepts, including 67.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 1.00 metre in EXML-002, it added. Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at CA$0.14 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
