Vortex Energy to Assess Hydrogen and Helium Potential at Robinsons River Salt Project, NL
MT newswire2026/10/05 16:4012:40 PM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Vortex Energy (VRTX.CN) commissioned a desktop geological study to evaluate the potential for naturally occurring hydrogen and helium at its Robinsons River Salt Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, the company said Monday. The study will review existing geological, geophysical, and well data and recommend further investigation where warranted, a statement said. "We want to make appropriate use of the information already available at Robinsons River," said Paul Sparkes, chief executive officer. Vortex Energy shares were unchanged at CA$0.60 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
