MT newswire2026/10/05 16:1612:16 PM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Argenta Silver (AGAG.V) said on Monday that the sixth batch of assay results from its diamond drilling program at El Quevar Project in Argentina confirmed the presence of a gold-copper zone that extends away from the Yaxtche deposit. The new zone, called the Carmen Target, flagged a "spatial" relationship between the main Yaxtche silver resource and an emerging zone of gold-copper mineralization, a statement said. Argenta intersected 0.45 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 0.19% copper over 46.0 meters at Carmen. The company also intersected high-grade silver mineralization in the western part of the Yaxtche Deposit where a step-out hole 100 meters northwest from the resource boundary intersected 1,599 g/t silver over 4 meters. Argenta Silver shares were last seen down CA$0.005 at CA$0.43 on the TSX Venture Exchange. Price: 0.43, Change: -0.01, Percent Change: -1.15
