BP CEO Meg O'Neill Says Refineries Adjusted to Maximize Diesel Output
MT newswire2026/10/05 14:3210:32 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BP (BP) Chief Executive Officer Meg O'Neill said Monday that the company has adjusted its refineries to try maximizing diesel production, amid sharper prices of the commodity. Speaking at the Energy Intelligence conference in London, O'Neill said that the company has been able to adapt and respond to changing customer needs. In May, BP's European refineries were able to tweak their operations to produce 30% more jet fuel than they did before the conflict, O'Neill added. Price: 44.48, Change: -0.31, Percent Change: -0.70
