NextNav, AiRanaculus Collaborating on Long-Range Drone Detection
MT newswire2026/10/05 14:2110:21 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- NextNav (NN) said Monday it entered a strategic partnership with AiRanaculus to advance integrated sensing and communications across the company's licensed lower 900 MHz spectrum. Financial details weren't disclosed. NextNav and AiRanaculus will combine their technologies to improve drone sensing and long-range early warning capabilities for counter-unmanned aircraft systems, the company said. Initial testing will focus on extended-range detection and tracking of drone activity within NextNav's 5G PNT Network footprint in Santa Clara County, California, the company said.
