Duos Technologies Completes Sale of GPU-as-a-Service Entity to Axe Compute for $42.9 Million
MT newswire2026/10/05 14:1210:12 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Duos Technologies (DUOT) said Monday it has completed the sale of its GPU-as-a-Service entity Duos Edge AI - GPUaaS to Axe Compute (AGPU) for $42.9 million. The amount will be paid via evenly scheduled monthly payments in the next 60 months, the company said. Duos said it will continue to deliver services to an existing client at Columbus facility under a revised five-year deal, and will lease capacity from Axe Compute. "Selling the GPU fleet sharpens Duos into a pure-play edge data center operator," said Duos CFO Chris DeAlmeida. "We keep the customer and the economics, we shed roughly $98.1 million of prospective equipment debt, and we free the balance sheet to fund sites instead of servers." DeAlmeida said Duos still expects full-year revenue of more than $50 million and positive adjusted EBITDA. Price: 9.06, Change: -0.05, Percent Change: -0.60

Korean retail investors shift to the US in Q3: Sold over 5.5 trillion won of Korean stocks, purchased more than 10 trillion won of US stocks
In the third quarter, Korean retail investors made net purchases of US stocks worth approximately 10.15 trillion won, marking a complete reversal from the previous pattern in the first half of the year, when they made net purchases of nearly 100 trillion won in KOSPI stocks. In September alone, the sell-off amount reached as high as 14.2 trillion won. Analysts attribute this shift to a combination of factors: a sharp decline in KOSPI at high levels, the continued strength of the US stock market driven by AI themes, and the appreciation of the Korean won reducing currency exchange costs.
