Navitas, Microchip Collaborate on 800V AI Data Center Power Design

10:12 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Navitas Semiconductor (NVTS) and Microchip Technology (MCHP) have developed an 800V DC-to-6V DC reference design for artificial intelligence data center rack power applications, the companies said Monday. The design combines Microchip's digital signal controllers and hardware security technology with Navitas' gallium nitride power devices and is aligned with the Open Compute Project's 800V DC standard, they said in a joint statement. The platform targets up to 96% peak efficiency at full load and power density of 2,100 watts per cubic inch, Navitas and Microchip said. Price: 12.08, Change: -0.32, Percent Change: -2.58
