Abbott Laboratories Receives FDA Approval to Include Interactive Features in CardioMEMS Heart Monitor
MT newswire2026/10/05 13:5809:58 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Abbott Laboratories (ABT) said Monday that it has received US Food and Drug Administration approval for technology that provides updates directly to patients through its CardioMEMS HF System. The company said the technology allows doctors to share daily heart pressure readings directly with patients between office visits. It said the technology also provides the ability to send medication adjustment instructions to patients' smartphones and measures pressure through an implanted sensor in the pulmonary artery.
