S&P Global September Final Services PMI Revised Upwards, Above August Index
MT newswire2026/10/05 13:5609:56 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The S&P Global US services index was revised upwards to 58.8 in September from the 58.7 flash reading, compared with expectations for no revision in a survey compiled by Bloomberg. The September index is higher than the 56.5 reading in August. The other regional services data suggested mixed readings for the sector in the month. S&P Global noted the index suggested a sixth straight month of business expansion with growth at its strongest since July 2021.
