Skyworks Solutions Closes Qorvo Combination
MT newswire2026/10/05 13:5209:52 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) completed its Qorvo combination, forming a US-based semiconductor company spanning RF, power management, analog and mixed-signal technologies, the company said Monday. Skyworks expects annualized cost synergies of $500 million or more within 24 to 36 months after closing, the company said. The transaction is expected to immediately boost non-GAAP earnings per share, with legacy Skyworks shareholders owning about 63% and former Qorvo shareholders about 37% of the combined company. Phil Brace will remain Skyworks' chief executive and president, with the company retaining the Skyworks name and SWKS ticker, it added. Skyworks Solutions shares were down 2.6% in Monday trading.
