MT newswire2026/10/05 12:5908:59 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were leaning lower premarket Monday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) declining by 0.2% and the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) down 0.8%. PTC (PTC) will be acquired by Schneider Electric in an all-cash deal valued at $23.7 billion, Schneider Electric said. Shares of PTC were up more than 35% pre-bell.
