Baker Hughes Signs Venezuela Deals to Revitalize Natural Gas, Energy Infrastructure
MT newswire2026/10/05 11:4607:46 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes (BKR) said Monday it signed two strategic agreements to support the revitalization of Venezuela's energy infrastructure and expand oil and gas production. The company said it formed an alliance with PDVSA, Lindsayca and Fulcrum LNG to develop natural gas infrastructure and potential LNG exports. Baker Hughes said it also signed a memorandum of understanding with New Stratus Energy to support future oil and gas projects. The agreements create a framework spanning upstream development, gas infrastructure, monetization and LNG commercialization, the company said. Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
