PMET Resources Signs Letter of Intent for Spodumene Concentrate Transshipment

06:59 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- PMET Resources (PMET.TO) has signed a letter of intent with the city of Matagami, Quebec, for transshipment services to support the Shaakichiuwaanaan project, the company said Sunday. The LOI is a key part of PMET's planned concentrate transportation infrastructure for the project. Spodumene concentrate would be trucked from Shaakichiuwaanaan to Matagami's transshipment yard, where it would be transferred to rail for onward transportation to the port. PMET aims to enter into a definitive commercial agreement with Matagami before it makes a final investment decision for Shaakichiuwaanaan.
