PepsiCo, Carlsberg Expand Bottling Partnership to Georgia, Armenia

05:33 AM EDT, 10/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- PepsiCo (PEP) has expanded its partnership with Carlsberg Group, which will take over bottling and distribution of PepsiCo beverages in Georgia and Armenia, the beer brewer said Monday. Under the deal, Carlsberg will handle production, logistics and commercial operations for PepsiCo's soft drinks portfolio by acquiring PepsiCo bottlers Iberia Refreshments in Georgia and JI Pepsi Cola Bottler Armenia from Revery, it said. PepsiCo will continue to oversee brand strategy and marketing. Carlsberg said that once the transactions close, it will hold bottling agreements with PepsiCo in 17 markets.
