Spot silver has just surpassed the $60.00/ounce mark, now quoted at $59.99/ounce, down 1.61% on the day; the main COMEX silver futures contract is now quoted at $60.37/ounce, down 1.32% on the day; spot platinum has just surpassed the $1,690.00/ounce mark, now quoted at $1,689.72/ounce, down 2.11% on the day; the main Nymex platinum futures contract is now quoted at $1,700.7/ounce, down 1.28% on the day;
