Vortex Energy Acquires Meadows Project in Saskatchewan

05:22 PM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Vortex Energy (VRTX.CN) after trade Thursday said it completed the acquisition of the Meadows Project in west-central Saskatchewan near the Alberta border. The acquisition gives Vortex 100% ownership of the project's Saskatchewan Subsurface Mineral Permit, along with related technical information and transferable government authorizations, the company said.
