Granite Joint Venture Wins $324.8 Million Contract for Ohio Tunnel Project

05:05 PM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Granite Construction (GVA) said its joint venture with Super Excavators won a $324.8 million contract from the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District for the Big Creek Tunnel project in Cleveland. The contract will be included in the Q3 construction advanced procurement backlog, Granite said Thursday in a statement. Construction is scheduled to begin in the autumn and finish in winter 2030.
