12:13 PM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- General Motors (GM) reported a 6% decline in Q3 vehicles sales in the US to 670,974 units, the company said Thursday. The decline reflected a smaller electric vehicle market as well as discontinued vehicles, the company said. The automaker said it ended the quarter with about 568,000 vehicles in inventory and that it remained on track for a year-end inventory level equivalent to 50 to 60 days of supply. GM shares were 0.5% higher in Thursday trading. Price: 77.41, Change: +0.41, Percent Change: +0.53

Yellen refuted the notion of an AI bubble, arguing that investments by major tech companies are grounded in solid business logic.
