Berkshire Hathaway Raises Ownership Stake in Lennar

10:29 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) has raised its stake in home construction company Lennar (LEN), according to a Thursday Form 4 filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Between Sept. 28 and Sept. 30, Berkshire Hathaway acquired about 656,000 class A shares and about 4,100 class B shares of Lennar, priced between $79.98 to $81.96 apiece, according to the filing. Berkshire Hathaway now owns an 11% stake in Lennar, sitting just behind Vanguard, which has an 11.2% stake in the company, according to a Bloomberg report. Shares of Lennar were down 2.4%, while Berkshire Hathaway stock was down 0.3% in Thursday trading.
